Aesop, the brand storytelling agency, has chalked up a first for HEINEKEN’S No Nonsense bitter John Smith’s with a one-off TV execution to support the brand’s long-running sponsorship of the Grand National. The ad will be available to view for the first time this week, ahead of the world famous race meeting at Aintree, which takes place from April 12-14.
With the Euros football tournament happening next year along with the world’s biggest school sports day, commonly known as the 2012 Olympics, there has been a flurry of brands investing money in sponsorship.
At the time of writing the Olympics boast 11 ‘Worldwide Partners’, 7 ‘Official Partners’, 7 ‘Official Supporters’ and 27 ‘Official Suppliers’.
So just a few brands then. In the future look out for ‘Official Boyfriends’, ‘Official Someone Who Helps Around the House’ and ‘Official Someone I Used to Know at Work’ of the Olympics.
